How do you write but be authentic (not needing everything to be perfect and actually writing in the moment rather than planning everything out beforehand)

I have a notepad app on my phone so that I always have somewhere I can write. If something comes to mind, I’ll open up the app & write in the moment. Or if I’m limited on time, I do an audio recording of what I’d write. I give myself permission to not complete a thought. Some days I go to write & will write just one word and other days I can write for days. Allowing myself to flow with whatever moment I’m in has made it easier for me to write authentically. But it’s taken time & practice to build the habit.

I try and not think about what I am writing and just write for a minimum of 3 pages without going back and self editing what I write and just write what is on my mind . Rambling is better as it gets down to the really deep stuff hidden beneath the surface .
