A good alternative are vegetables as they are not as sweet. I usually eat tomatoes, cucumbers or salad. Instead of bacon and sausages you can eat rather bread with butter, ham or cheese.

it’s good to start the day with protein, so if you like fruit, maybe put it over some greek yogurt. also a fried egg on toast is easy and tasty. but as for blood sugar, fruits are the best kind of sugars to consume if any, just in moderation like anything else. opt to consume them in non/blended form though, because if consumed in a smoothie, you’re taking away the body’s opportunity to digest and break down those sugars on its own, meaning you benefit less from the fibers and vitamins and it goes straight to your blood stream as sugar.
