I prefer to do intermittent fasting from 8:30 to 12:30 pm – is it still bad to skip breakfast then?

Is it good to fast, but it is also critical to make sure the body does not run out of Energy.
My advise is to try to make and eat balanced breakfast before you start the fasting (between 6 and 8 am). The breakfast includes protein such as eggs or whey protein and complex cab such as whole bread and fiber such as green leaves;you can also add some fruits such as apple or blueberries.

I tend to fast between 11 & 2. I think breakfast is important & my favorite meal of the day. Plus, I'm a diabetic, starting the day off with insulin & food is only right; it'll be a bad day if other wise. Fluctuating glucose levels are not cool.

It isn’t bad but eating breakfast is very beneficial. You should try to wake up earlier in order to take the time to have breakfast. While some people can skip breakfast and feel fine you should at least have a fruit or bar in the morning in order to have enough energy till lunch.
