Yeah you are absolutely right. But I think if you want to be consistent then, schedule a time for it. It will be perfect if you assign a night time for your journal as you can easily pour your thoughts of a long day before bedtime.

i wake up and eat breakfast then immediately just sit down and journal there’s literally nothing in between. i make sure it’s like eating bc for me it’s feeding my mind and soul.
