Hi there’s many things you can do first is to open up the curtains let some light in it automatically brightens up your room then sort out your closet and things you don’t need anymore and then try rearranging things around your bedroom try to get baskets to store items so it looks tidier and most of all it’s your room so have fun and decorate it to your liking x also if you could send a picture so we get an idea of how it is

Make sure its spacious, get rid of stuff you dont need and start with doing the essentials and arranging it in a way most comfortable to you, so where you put your bed, where your table would go and all that stuff, after that you can decorate your room as per your preference

I think it’s important to have a vision of what you want your room to look like. Perhaps check some design magazines for ideas. Library usually have magazines that you can look at there if you don’t have a lot of money to buy them. Then you need to look at each item and determine if it’s something you really love. There’s a lady by the name of Marie Kondo who has a great program that people can follow. And in small spaces it’s about getting rid of what you don’t really need or love, or making our furniture or items have a multi purpose.

Add things that make you feel comfortable. Sometimes lack of space forces you to be creative so add things that you enjoy looking at. Whether it be pictures, candles or even a simple rug
