I know this is a very individualized process, but I think the more specific, the better. The professor who teaches about African masks at Harvard … he loved African masks so much, and now he’s high paid for the being the foremost expert in his field. Because he had a specific vision. It was a sliver of all that was out there to focus on. And that also meant it was unique. His passion concentrated there and therefore, he could be the best.

Not too specific in my view, when I started journaling I asked myself what it was that I really liked about the thinks that I was passionate about doing and found a couple of common themes being connection with others, specifically coaching them, and incremental improvement. I then expanded back out to find how I could do more activities that met these themes.
