An English-style breakfast is not ideal for Dutch people, so is porridge or muesli without sugar also good?

Yes, I will typically eat one egg mixed in with some egg whites, oatmeal and my morning isn’t complete without my coffee 🙂

I heard that eggs are good for breakfast, especially when you are traning. They have a lot of proteins. There are couple ways to eat eggs, not only scrambled eggs with bacon. However I think that every meal that gives you energy for the morning is good. If you're not fan of scrambled eggs or just eggs dont force your self to eat them. Breakfast should be a nice time that will not only give you energy but also make you happy by eating it. Just find what suits you the best, and if muesli is a go to – just go for it, but dont forget to put something more to it like couple fruits of your choice. Cheers.

I prefer oatmeal. The preparation is methodical, similar to walking the labyrinth path. Watching the steam is as hypnotic as watching a camp fire or a running stream. Then eating allows more meditation or easy reading to start the morning.

Well its depend on what is available and what u can eat some cant eat certain food while others can so its depends on you and what u want to eat

Breakfast is not about place but about nutrition. You don't have to ask about English or Dutch style from the professionals but yourself. When you ask yourself, be honest. These simple set of questions will help you a lot:
1. Are you a student? If yes, are you a morning person?

b) no
2. Do you excercise a LOT in the morning?

b) no
3. Do you work at office?
a) yes
b) no
4. How much do you eat in dinner?light meals?
a) yes
b) no
If answers are yes mostly, then you've to have a great breakfast with all vitamins and minerals, mostly proteins. If no mostly, try average porridge or muesli.
