What are some good skin routines?

The Korean skincare routine has been excellent for me. I’ve been using it for years, and it’s nice having a ritual with specific steps for morning and at night.

I love to start off with a makeup melting balm, the one from Elf. That melts mascara so easily! Then I use my CeraVe foaming facial cleanser and wash all of that off. Then I use some toner from Thayers and then use another toner, the one from Clinique that is at level 2. After that I use the night time moisturizer from Elf.

Different chemical compounds help skin as it ages. I keep it simple. Cleanse with oil base cleanser, use salicylic acid product or sulphur soap after cleansing to clean skin. Am use vit c serum following by a moisturiser like a french one or cerave, then tinted spf factor 50 all weathers. Pm: cleanse as before, use retinol with moisturiser so it’s milder and alternate nights a skin lightener on ages spots with moisturiser. Lots of water during the day and enough sleep. Also for the body wash with sulphur soap and then use body oil while wet before

Wash your face and use a gentle cleanser every single night.
Don’t wash your face in the morning (unless you absolutely have to), just rinse with water. It helps with the oil balance on your skin.
Less is more, a 10 step skincare routine is unnecessary.
Wear spf 50 sunscreen every day, and reapply throughout the day.

I saw derm and they prescribed benzoyl wash for my infected hair follicles as well as an acne cream. I use urea cream twice a day, once after my evening shower, use thick non commonengenic lotions twice a day, and sun screen every time I’m in the sun.

I’m going to answer for skincare for your face:)
(Wash your hands before)
At first, you should clean your face, either with water or a friendly face cleanser, depending on how sensitive your skin is. Dry your face softly, don’t rub! If you want to, apply a toner next, then a serum (you don’t have to use these). The final and important step is to apply a moisturizer for your face. Massage it in softly, don’t apply too much pressure to your sensitive face. Done!

Cetaphil. # Doctor Recommended. It just works. It’s not just an ad. It really works. The bar soap, too. It’s just amazing stuff.

Good yet gentle cleansing. Rose water as tonic for the skin. Then a good hydrating cream, with SPF 10 or more. Drink plenty of water. Just water! And avoid too much makeup. Keep it simple, keep it breathable. Skin has its natural defences, so putting toouch extra stuff onto it defeats the purpose. To help hydrating your skin, you could also gently wet it before applying your cream
This is a tip I got once from a dermatologist

Soon after you get up and drink your water, steam your face with a norwex microfiber face cloth rinsed in hot water, then wash your face with it, and apply lotion.

I recommend Korean ones specifically use in order:
Cleanser
Toner
Serum
Facial lotion
Sunscreen if this is for morning otherwise don’t and use a lip mask for the night

Depending on your age you can use different and more varying products. Before the age it of seven, I recommend using some warm water and a flannel every evening. After that (7-12) using a gentle cleanser and a basic moisturiser is enough. Then, as a teen you can use serums and more vigorous cleansers with nice smelling moisturisers. As you become an adult it is good to use under eye creams if you have bags and night masks. You should do these routine we morning and night in this order: cleanser, serum, under eye cream, moisturiser then night masks (if using).
