As a runner, I usually have a low sugar granola bar or a piece of fruit like an apple or a banana before starting my workout. In my opinion less is more for my workouts because I don’t want to feel queasy while running.
I susally just go with some fruits to start my day. I usually eat an apple and banana or 2 Apples or 2 Bananas if there are no Bananas or no Apples. I usually eat something else small a bit later for example- I wake up at 6AM Eat and Exercise at Around 9AM or 8AM I might eat something small if I run low on fuel
