How do you store your board games so they are tidy and not in big piles that end up falling over or end up behind big stacks of board games?

I like to place them on shelves with books and video games. They are pieces of art and deserve to be displayed. Admittedly these games aren't mainstream so I tend to look at them as collectors items.
