For those with mental illness. How do you keep a clean home?

To keep a clean and tidy home can be a challenge even for healthy people, with a busy life. My mom says : if you are surrounded by mess, your inside – thoughts, feelings etc. will reflect that. Keep a tidy home, and think/feel clearly. In the beginning, washing the floor and doing the dishes will feel like a choir. But in time, you’ll get into a rythm – because cleaning is also a thing you have to practice to be good at. Thereafter it will get easier, and the affects of it will make you feel so good, so at home, that you’ll want to do it.
