What do you do to beat a reading slump

To beat a reading slump, I usually start a book that’s WAY out of the normal choices. Like switching from mysteries to sci-fi. I also lower my daily goal ans slowly build back up.

If you want to pass a reading slump the first step is picking a book you really like. You also might want to have a few places in the house that you read. You should do it at the time of day you have the most free time. You just sit down with a good book and start reading. It would probably be better if you went to a place that has less distractions. It is very hard to do something when you are distracted.
