No doubt. In movies often you get only surface of characters and problems. There is less space for thinking and forming your own opinions. Movies are more direct, books demand some own intelectual work.

Yes I really enjoy reading a book and winding down for the day. I know that it is better for me than watching a series and makes falling asleep easier
