How do you minimise distractions and truly immerse yourself in a book?

I played my books audio in google podcasts and try to match my speech and pronouncation acconrdingly.. In this way we can't get distract and we can read well

By keeping away all distraction like mobile and other electronic gadgets which lead to distraction, and being in peaceful area to avoid distraction.
