It depends on the time of day. In the morning, I like to read a book that gets me thinking and processing throughout the day. It gets my mind moving and active. At night, I like to read something a bit lighter like some fiction or possibly a biography of a person who interests me.

I love all kinds. Funny and light, thrillers, suspense, detective stories. I love the series by Janet Evanovich as a funny and light. I also love trying new authors but I have to search so I don't get in a rut. I'm also a "gotta read the whole series" kinda gal!
