The Final Challenge

Dear Fabulous Traveler,

Have you ever started an incredibly difficult challenge, where just the thought of succeeding made you shiver with excitement? Now is the time for that challenge.

Strive to succeed.

You’ve already achieved a great milestone. You are now able to exercise for longer periods and to run for 30 minutes. You’re ready for the ultimate challenge in the Exercise Journey.

Your goal from the beginning was to exercise every day. Exercising 3 times a week is great, but you may eventually lose the habit as it’s not happening every day. What’s better is to make some time every day for your workout. Get ready, Fabulous Traveler. You’re launching the 22-day challenge.

The 22-Day Challenge

Here are the rules:

  • You can have one rest day a week
  • Never quit an exercise session early; run in place or take a short break if you’re tired

You can join this Fabulous Facebook group. The group is reserved for the Fabulous Premium community. We’ll be there to encourage you, and you can swap stories and tips with other Fabulous users. Keep in mind, though, that the community exists for encouragement and an occasional nudge; it should not be your primary motivator. Strive to complete the challenge for yourself. Self-appreciation and internal commitment are key.

This is exciting, right? It’s up to you now: 22 days of fitness! You’ve learned so much during this journey, and now is the time to put all of it into practice.

You’ve learned that environment is the most important motivator. You’ve started changing your environment, and it now encourages you to exercise.

You built a new ritual for yourself. The Sphere Ritual is a daily routine that reminds you of the joys of exercise.

You have learned how to recognize and take control of your mind weeds. Sometimes you now welcome them because you know that overcoming these challenges makes you stronger.

You’ve discovered that barriers will always be a part of life, even for the greatest athletes. You created a checklist to help you overcome your own barriers.

You now have a weekly Fresh Start Ritual that will lock in and rekindle your motivation.

For this final challenge, you’ll use everything you’ve learned to succeed. Consider this challenge a badge of honor you're gifting to your future self!

This Week’s Plan

Your one-time action

Grab a piece of paper, Fabulous Traveler. You will now commit, in writing, to exercise for 22 days in a row. Establish the rules by writing the answers to these questions:

  1. Which day of the week will be your rest day?
  2. What will you do if you’re really exhausted during an exercise session? (Will you rest briefly and then continue? Walk instead of running? It’s up to you, just make a plan so that you won’t quit early.)

Twenty-two days will be tough, and you may not make it on your first try. If you miss a day, don’t give up! Record your streak and start again. Continue starting over each time you miss a day until you succeed in completing a 22-day streak.

Restart the challenge, as many times as you have to, until you taste success.

Your goal

Your true goal is to run for 22 days in a row, excluding rest days. In your Fabulous Exercise Journey, you’ll see that the goal is five days in a row. The difference is because you’ll be starting a new Fabulous Journey soon. Aim to complete the five-day streak in Fabulous, then continue toward the 22-day goal. You can look at the habit page or monthly ritual view within Fabulous to track your progress after the first five days.

The true goal is to run for 22 days in a row, excluding rest days. But since you'll be starting a new Challenge or Journey soon, the goal in Fabulous is to run for 5 days in a row.
