Putting it all together

Hello, Fabulous Traveler,

You’ve come a long way!

You started by getting the foundations in place: a notebook and a calendar system. You learned that it’s important to choose a simple organisation system and to get into the habit of looking at your to-do list and calendar every day.

Next you taught yourself the skill of choosing the most important task, the meaningful work that will make you progress towards your dearest goals.

Then you learned how to create plans, and, more importantly, how to adjust them according to reality. You saw that we’re living in a turbulent world, so your plans need a daily adjustment. This is the Feedback Loop skill, a common trait among all highly successful individuals: seeing what didn’t work, and asking what you can do to improve on it?

You followed this with the Focused & Meaningful Work skill. You got a timer, and started doing 25 minutes of uninterrupted quality work. Each time a distraction popped into your head, you simply wrote it down in your notebook and made a conscious effort to ignore it for the time being.

Then, you learned that doing quality work becomes much easier in the right environment. You learned to block distracting stimulants and to start your day by enjoying some minutes of focused work.

And finally, you started experimenting with meditation. You’re realising the importance of this habit in our constantly distracting world, where everything and everyone is asking for our attention every second of our lives.
