I find that using a brush that is soft and made of boar bristle is best for general grooming. The thicker the better because it will really get in between all of your strands of hair. I also like it in the form of a paddle. Do it at night before bed because it will stimulate your hair follicles to recover from your day while you are sleeping. There is an old tale that you should brush your hair using 100 strokes. I try my best to do it because it will give your hair a beautiful sheen as the natural oils from your scalp will coat and protect your hair. When washing your hair lather up first and let the shampoo sit and do it’s job while you lather up the rest of your body. When it’s time to rinse off turn your head away from the water and lean your head back to get a good rinse. Use your fingers to help get all of the shampoo and hair product out. If you need a second shampoo then just do the same as above again. When using conditioner only put it on the ends of your hair and not your scalp because it will clog your hair follicles and inhibit groth and the release of those healthy oils. I know it sounds like a lot but doing this will make sure that your hair will stand up against all of the styling products and instruments you might use. Good luck!<\/div>\n<\/div>
