First of all let’s remember the disadvantages of scrolling reels throughout the day. It wastes our lot of time which we can utilise in our work and to make us better. It also makes mindset negative, as on social media we then compare with others, it also changes our opinions and makes us think about the things are not even important and things which make us sad after thinking. Our real life relationships, attention span, memory ability, creativity all of these deteriorates. Although it can be beneficial too but if in limit . But literally mindless scrolling can never be good.
\nSo tips for limiting reels distraction is setting timer on the app and making commitment to yourself and others that you’ll not see more than the timer. You can deactivate instagram account time to time temporarily, that’ll reduce your scrolling time and also won’t cut off you from social media . You can also delete the app rather than deactivating, like make a goal I’ll download the app after one day or every day at night or whatever time you think is right and then delete it after spending some time on it. You can set reminders on another apps to remind you stop watching reels and doing your work. Also when you do something little like this, be grateful and celebrate that like if you delete the app for two days then you’ll treat yourself with something good.
