Sadly, I  realized that sitting at the desk was not causing my belly and body to grow. I was eating more high calorie foods and due to working eight hours, I didn\u2019t have the leisure time to walk like I used to.  For me, worrying about sitting was a way to excuse the weight gain instead of looking at what actually caused the change: too much high calorie food. <\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m working really hard on just moving, small quick sessions of really simple movements all throughout the day. The mobility I have from being able to move my neck and my shoulders, and my back has been so uplifting that the other changes like swapping out lower calorie choices for the high calorie foods I love (Cooking potatoes in my air fryer versus ordering french fries at the Drive-through) are easier to face. <\/p>\n<p>The other big change I  am working on is to put myself first by slowing down. I make sure to give myself time to make ice  so that when I fill up my water glass, I will have plenty of ice waiting for me. I prepare my coffee at night before I go to bed so that I can have a hot cup waiting when I wake up.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"thefa-test2 thefa-entity-placement\" id=\"thefa-762336168\"><div id=\"thefa-853332952\"><style>.thefa-test2 {margin-bottom: 24px;}<\/style>\r\n<div class=\"banner-content-position light-viol\">\r\n<div class=\"banner-text max400\">Procrastination is not laziness.
