I started with 5 minutes and slowly increased to 30. Some days my knees are so painful so I drop down to 15 minutes but I do this every day on treadmill on level 1. I am not a morning person. But I have started doing arm-circles when I wake up, and it&#39;s easier than I thought even though I upped the pounds on my weights! <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Lo C C.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">Full body workouts where it&#39;s just your body vs itself and gravity. No weights, no equipment, just you pushing yourself the hardest you can anywhere anytime anyplace. That really is the best part about it.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Maxwell F.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">For exercise, it really depends on where you are in your fitness journey.<br \/>\nIf you are just starting, it could be walking the flight of steps or just walking around the block.<br \/>\nI have a walking trail that is a varied one mile uphill grade.  It engages legs, back, and core and works for cardio without having to run.<br \/>\nI workout mostly without equipment and find all of the variations of pushups, planks, squats and many others are essential for strength training.   I can do a 20 or 30 minute workout at no cost without leaving the house.<br \/>\nAnything you have never done or are out of practice with will feel difficult.  Take a step, be patient with yourself, and build a routine.<br \/>\nLike most essential things in life, the best workout is the one we will do.<br \/>\nPeace!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Everalda F.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">I always wanted to be able to do pull ups.  Every other morning I would try to pull myself up to get my chin over the bar.  I didn\u2019t worry about not performing it I took pride in the facts that I was trying each day and each day I was able to hold on a little longer.  Now I am doing three pull ups and working on four!  Look for small improvements and keep going!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Caroline P.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">My current favourite exercises are bodyweight (without equipment) ab exercises &#8211; situps, crunches, etc. But one exercise I used to hate was pushups. They&#39;re so hard! I still struggle but when I do them now I do one, then child&#39;s pose for a couple of seconds, then two, child&#39;s pose, three&#8230; and keep going until my minute is up &#8211; or longer if I can make it. It just makes it feel a little bit less scary. I improvise often I even do them sitting in a chair. Keep it simple and you will do them daily. Didn&#39;t think I would gravitate toward it, but did. It&#39;s a full body workout, not jostling to the body. At first, I was so tight and inflexible, and as I continue with my goal of a daily yoga practice, my body has become healthier and I feel more comfortable in my own skin.
