With that being said, I modify my yoga as needed throughout. If during any session I feel like I cannot hold a pose without injuring or potentially hurting myself (or I just simply do not have it in me that day) I modify it. I do a less straining pose or put myself into a pose that my body reacts to better. Yoga is your own personal journey and the instructor is only there to guide you. Do as you please with it, even if you are sitting in the child\u2019s  pose through the entire session.
