When it gives me a notification to remind me to write at 13:15 I\u2019m sometimes busy at work or at something else, so I tell to myself \u201cok, later\u201d and then I forgot. Sometimes if I remember I write something late afternoon or in the evening before going to bed together with to do list for day after. But I have to accept that it\u2019s totally up on me, probably I should set the reminder for a more appropriate time or just insert journaling in the morning. I end at night and reflect on my day. I jot down my moods and how I physically feel. It depends why you\u2019re journaling, if you like using it to write down everything on your mind I recommend at night because it helps for stress relief. If I woke up in the morning I might be groggy and tired, but it could be the same case at night. So just ask yourself: am I considered an early bird, or a night owl, and you should get your answer easily. Even now as an adult I still write in my journal, I\u2019ve always felt I could express myself better on paper. So to answer your question I wouldn\u2019t really say I have a preference between morning or evenings, I just pick up my pen and open my journal and write. Morning jiurnal mostly consists of extending gratitude for the day that you have got in your life. Night journalling is about extending gratitude for the things that happened to you throughout the day. This is my personal opinion of journalling. However, I journal during the day when it gets overwhelming for me and the stream of thoughts go out of control, I pen it down .
