I will usually follow a journal prompt. I also find it easy to journal when I am angry. I like doing that so I don\u2019t say something regrettable. It helps me to look at what I\u2019m actually feeling and figure out if it\u2019s reasonable. Example being- someone left me on read for over two hours and I started freaking out and thinking that they hate me and find me annoying. When I started journaling, I looked at the situation and said, \u201cThey don\u2019t hate me, they are extremely busy preparing for a mission trip. They love me a ton and it\u2019s going to be ok.\u201d Journaling helps me look at things objectively. I also love journaling to record happy moments and special things.
