Sometimes everything feels useless, dark and pointless, and it feels hard to be grateful. For me it works to focus on little things that make me grateful. The little lightpoints in the darkness, we will say :). Even when it&#39;s very dark and difficult, there are always a few little things to be grateful about. For example: you&#39;re breathing, you&#39;ve socks, the sun shines (or it rains, just write it down on the list or thjngs to be grateful for, it works), you&#39;ve a smartphone, etc. Just stsrt writing at your happy-thingslist, remember that even when you only have one thing, it&#39;s something to be grateful about. And may they are from my mistakes , then I have to apologize , and correct myself before it gets too late ,So i can be greatful that I noticed that . It might not be the first obvious thing you think of or your first thought. It might be something you see everyday but never think to be grateful of. <\/p>\n<p>If I stopped right now (I\u2019ve been cleaning my house all day and feel crappy about it), like I actually stop, breathe and look around. I\u2019m grateful I have a safe home. I\u2019m grateful for the cooker I have to cook on, and the meals I have access to because I have a functioning kitchen. <\/p>\n<p>So have a look around now, do you have a comfy bed that allows you rest? But I think a good place to start is by just allowing yourself to start thinking about all of the things in your home that you are grateful for, like for example a nice cozy bed, comfy pillows, warm blankets, indoor plumbing, heat and air conditioning,  clean water to drink, etc. The more you start to think about all of the things in your home that you are grateful for, that we normally never even give much thought to, it will be easier to start looking at everything else in your life to be grateful for&#8230;.even the difficult things. Keeping in mind that growth only happens when we are challenged. But keeping your mind on gratitude and trying to remain positive that everything is working out for your own good, even if it doesn&#39;t seem like it right now, is really the best medicine. If it&#39;s motivation like you turn off the alarm and go back to sleep find music that makes you excited to hear and when you turn off the alarm look for that song or get up as soon as the alarm goes off and walk to the bathroom. Alot of the time our body doesn&#39;t realise it&#39;s awake until we have really moved. Also try going to bed earlier so your body gets the sleep it needs make it a point to put your phone down 30 mins before you go to sleep so you aren&#39;t tempted to stay up<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Liz I.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">I think being  grateful goes hand in hand with optimism and hope. Be compassionate with yourself and tell yourself everything is going to work out in the end even if I may be struggling a little bit temporarily. Those heavy feelings are okay to be felt just a tiny bit, but never let your emotions control you. You are the master of self, so when you think positive, positive things will come your way. 1. Acknowledge the issue or cause. 2. Ask yourself &quot;Is this issue anything I have control over?&quot; If not then come to terms and let it go, it&#39;s okay to cry &amp; release. If it is then 3. Come up with constructive solutions. 4. Implement those solutions into your daily life. 5. Daily positive affirmations of the person you wish to become to be the best version of yourself. You can do with with love, passion and dedication. There\u2019s the little things we don\u2019t pay attention much to like the beautiful birds chirping on a Sunday morning, the sounds of your kids telling you they love you, the sound of your car engine working perfectly fine without problems. The bed you lay in every night so comfortable molded just for you.
