Here&#39;s why: you&#39;re learning and experimenting with what works. If you solidify on another order eventually, I&#39;d change it. <\/p>\n<p>Another thing to consider is whether you&#39;re the kind of person who needs a lot of structure or some. If you&#39;re new to behavior chaining and like structure, I&#39;d do them in order. I don&#39;t think it matters what order you do them in, as long as they are done each day. The important thing is to do your habits the best you can and as you can, but there is no problem with taking it fresh. I think if the intent is to follow the routine and you follow through on that intent with action for each step, it is okay if it gets a little out of order or messy sometimes. That&#39;s life. Sometimes your day will look different, and the more habits you try to build, the more difficult it is to build repetition. But the point of the process isn&#39;t to make your life repetitive, it&#39;s to make it better. Who cares if you exercise at a different time or forget to brush your teeth until after lunch.
