Tracking my food intake on an app like MyFitnessPal or the like. (Put in everything&#8230; even it it isn\u2019t healthy and you don\u2019t want to record it)  This drives awareness of the healthy things that I like, and the pitfalls. It also helps me make smarter choices when I do splurge. <\/p>\n<p>2. I have a partner who is trying to eat healthy too. We tend to encourage each other and that sense of accountability keeps me more focused. <\/p>\n<p>Bonus: don\u2019t be too hard on yourself if you fall off track. It\u2019s more about finding the area where I can improve the most, this is where a change in habits will have the largest effect. So be honest and find your own dark corner of secrets or shame, like chocolate for breakfast, and make it a little better. And forgive yourself in 5 seconds when you don\u2019t get it right, so you can \u201cstart over\u201d and not go into procrastination. That&#39;s the most important part, that you want to have healthy options in the house for when you&#39;re tired and you&#39;ve already spent the entire day making decisions.
