I also write about things that have happened and my thoughts and feelings about them. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"single-answer\">\n<div class=\"who-answered\">Debbie W.<\/div>\n<div class=\"detailed-answer\">As a Martial Artist, I usually write about my mindset and philosophies to do with the Martial Arts.<br \/>\nI used to compete a lot, so an example would be \u201cYour Martial Arts should resemble your personality.\u201d Here\u2019s the context: One of me students was quite a live wire, and he would often go other clubs and get a bit training in. While he was there, the training he was doing was doing would very ordered and \u201cnice\u201d. It was the opposite of how I trained him. With me , his training involved a lot of chaos,  so that he could find his order within that. Why?? Well because he would train roughly 10 hours per week for 45 or so weeks of the year. On the other hand he would fight 5 times on average per year. Each fight is 3 rounds and each round is 5 minutes. So do the math.<br \/>\n3 rounds &#x3D; 15 minutes<br \/>\n5 fights * 15 minutes<br \/>\n&#x3D;  1 hour 15 minutes.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s less than one day of training.<br \/>\nSo in my mind, it\u2019s pointless training one way for so many hours just to compete in a different way. It just wouldn\u2019t work. Your training has to look like your fighting. Btw , when someone is throwing punches and kicks at your head, your reaction will always favour what\u2019s natural to you than what is drilled. Drilling is absolutely important but drilling in a way that suits your natural demeanour.<br \/>\nSo, Your Martial Arts should resemble your personality.<br \/>\nSo that\u2019s the kind of stuff that  I write about. Sometimes I\u2019m a bit more wordy.
