I pay attention to myself before my other priorities for the day. I get to give myself a high five after I&#39;m done, which is a nice silly way to start my day. I\u2019m hoping to see progress (mainly in my flexibility) so starting my day with a visual representation of my progress will be encouraging. It is enlivening and improved my mood, as well as creating a sense of strength and accomplishment. Many times I\u2019ve given myself an excuse not to work out once the morning has passed because it was my goal to work out in the morning. Right now since I am just starting out, I allow myself to work out at any time of day. Even if it\u2019s not morning, it\u2019s okay, because the main thing is that I work out period.
