Why don’t you try eating some eggs, I really like them Mexican style, with tomatoes, onions and Serrano Chile.
Ad a small salad or some vegetables. You can also eat a piece of bread or corn tortillas, beans and a cup of green tea. For bread sourdough is the best option, good luck and keep healthy.

Neil P.

Always eat healthy! I'm something that my mom calls flexitarian. Some times we eat unhealthy but It's rare. So good breakfast ideas are: Parfaits, oatmeal, Biscuits, Cearal(the natural kind). I always have dairy free milk(almond is the best)and yogurt for parfaits. My mom makes this dish called sweet potato hash. It's got kale and onions and obviously sweet potato. It's delicious! I definitely encourage you to try it.

Dino Z.

I am definitely not a morning person so unless it’s a weekend I usually got for something quick and healthy. This morning it’s yogurt, sometimes I’ll have a smoothie or an apple with peanut butter or a boiled egg. As far as how much to eat, I think that depends on you. I am never hungry when I wake up so I usually have something small just so I’m not ravenous by the time lunch rolls around.

Adna C.

Reach for whole grains. Have a bowl of oatmeal, or choose a whole-grain cereal with at least 5 grams of fiber per serving and/or those that carry a seal identifying them as an “excellent” or “good” source of whole grains. Keep an eye on sugars too: look for cereals with less than 6 grams of sugars per serving.
Add a lean source of protein. Research suggests that, gram for gram, protein may help you feel fuller, for longer, than carbs or fat. Eggs, tofu, peanut butter, fish and lean meats all are good sources of protein. Other good choices include low-fat dairy products, such as milk, yogurt and cottage cheese.
Make the most of fruit. A small glass of 100% fruit juice is an easy way to get a serving of fruit with your breakfast, but elect for whole fruits when possible, as they contain fiber.

As for how much you should eat: for a woman: 300-400 calories, for a man: 400-500 calories.

Vanda Q.

I ”eat” for my first breakfast 1 dl of high quality grass-fed and naturally flavored what protein with water, lion’s mane mushroom extract and rosea rhodiola extract and eat a high-fiber oat bread or a piece of fruit. I like to sometimes do fat free plain greek yogurt with about a cup of fresh cut strawberries and blueberries, and 2 eggs any style. Other times I usually have about 4 (personal preference) scrambled eggs and about 1 1/2 cup of hashbrowns, with water and coffee. I usually float between these two, and sometimes veer away and just have whatever I am in the mood for- but I always try to steer clear of processed items as my first meal of the day.

Eli F.

First, I want to respond to the “how much should I eat” part of this. The simple answer is “however much feels good.” For me, I can’t eat much when I first wake up, so I have something small and then a larger “second breakfast” an hour or so later when my body is more awake and ready to eat. Sometimes I make oatmeal and eat half early and the other half after an hour. Sometimes I’m hungrier and have a bigger breakfast. I try to let my body call the shots. As for what to eat, overnight oats with some chia seeds for extra protein are great. The carbs give your body energy and the protein and fat help keep you full. If you have more time, eggs and toast is another great option with protein, fat, and carbs. Alternatively, a smoothie on the go may be a good option. Be sure to add in some protein and fat by way of chia or flax seeds, nut butter, or protein powder. But really the best breakfast is one that you enjoy and that makes your body feel good!

Freja A.

I love a good breakfast smoothie! I try to stay away from gluten and ‘bread carbs’ because they digest quickly into sugars and leave you hungry faster than protein and fat. Yogurt is good (only use granola if you have grain-free granola) and berries are good as well. If you have a good protein powder (without the extra junk they put in a lot of them) you can make a smoothie if you’re in a time crunch. I generally stay away from cereal, bananas (high sugar content), and I drink my coffee without sugar and flavored creamers. I just use plain half and half. Basically, anything with lots of fats and proteins (avocados are great for this) because they will keep you full until lunch. I hope this helps!

Connor W.

One could put together a sardine / tuna sandwich (2 slices of bread) with vegetables (lettuce, onions & green pepper), optional is to add mayonnaise / ketchup and top it off with a beverage (tea, choco, etc)

Lucie T.

Something high in protein and nutrients is good. Something to keep you full and going until lunch, but not something huge. Eggs are good, or fruit and peanut butter. I cut up the apple and dip it in the peanut butter.

Florian T.

Oats, eggs, milk, brown bread are some easy and health options. Keep them in stock along with some dry fruits.
Quantity will be determined by how you feel satiated. Do this for a couple of days and you will understand how much your body requires.
